I agree with Lucy. If you don't like the book, don't finish it. The writing doesn't change much throughout the book, so if you don't like it now, you won't like it later. I like all of it, but that's just me.

While I admit that the second book had it's annoying parts, if you didn't like what you read so far you're not going to enjoy the rest of it very much. Personally, I loved everything about the third book, and the end definitely gets very fast-paced.

I personally think the 2nd book is the worst because it's just slightly confusing but to get the storyline of the third and fourth book you have to read it.
