Goodreads asked Jason K. Lewis:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jason K. Lewis Just write. You could try the software program called 'Write or Die' but in my experience, just write anything. That might mean leaving your main project whilst you do something else. I usually have at least two projects on the go so that I can switch if I get stuck on one.
The other advice is don't worry about getting it right first time, as long as you know you are in for many, many re-writes, it doesn't really matter too much what the first draft looks like as long as the story is good.
