This book is not what I expected. When I first started reading it I thought it was a book about a marriage gone "stale" and I almost didn't finish it. I am SO glad I stuck with it because it turned out to be a beautiful, bittersweet, poignant story with a slight twist. The last 50 pages were so worth my patience.
Wolfgirl I picked this up when I was staying with someone and had to ask to borrow it! Read it all the way home on the train too. If you've not read the "sequel" do read "The love song of Queenie Hennessy", it's a must if you enjoyed Harold Fry
