Their friendship was one of my favorite parts of this book. Once I got inside KC's head and saw what kind of world she was living in, I definitely was able to empathize with her more, but it was still great to see her really appreciate our beloved Tate and feel a ping of guilt for the hurt she did cause. The way Tate took KC under her wing and acted as sort of a wiser big sister was so hysterical.
