I have only gotten through the first 4 Fable volumes. Do I need to be caught up to read this crossover? Will it spoil the Fable volumes I have not read yet.

Yes it has spoilers. While this is an alternative story line for the fables characters, it references things from the main story line, and it's more fun to see this alternative versions after reading the main one.

This is more of an alterna-Fables-verse, but the events taking place are around volume 9/10. That being said, maybe one or two big things match up with the regular Fables-verse.
