Ok so I was going to read no limits... but then I saw this and some reviews about the author combining them what should I read first??

I haven't read Hard Knocks yet, and I went straight to reading No Limits. They mention Gage and Harper a little bit in No Limits, but it's not necessary to read Hard Knocks first if you don't want to. :) There's no plot holes.
