Hey there good people! I recently rented this book and the rest of its trilogy. But i couldn't find the first series anywhere i can afford. So, i guess i wouldn't be able to read the first series in the moment. Can i start by reading this one? And am i gonna enjoy and understand it or what?

Nevada While it has been a long time since I read the series, I remember the Legends series being a standalone from Chronicles. Chronicles will provide significant backstory and greater depth of feeling for the characters, but you don't have wait. I also don't remember any spoilers in either.

I loved these books (both series) and would hate for you to miss out because you were waiting for the others. Hope this helps!
Peter I also read "Legends' before "Chronicles" and I can recommend reading them in order (Chronicles before Legends).
Aleksandra It's quite alright to read Legends separate from the rest of the Dragonlance series. It would be great if you could read Chronicles afterwards at least.

Avaminn F'nett Probably not. The first series gives a lot of background for this one.
