Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Shelley Daniels Lekven I was reading a book one afternoon, shortly before graduating from UCLA with a psychology degree, when I began to wonder what lay ahead for me in life. Setting the book aside, I wrote a poem about a little girl with the same thoughts. That poem became the text for Lily Pond.
