Goodreads asked J.S. Davis:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

J.S. Davis Sharing stories. I've always felt writing was about the audience, not so much in the construction of the story but that it needs to be shared. We all write our own private bits but the risk and reward of being a writer is taking something we have written and actively giving it to other people. It's that response, sharing a bit of me and seeing how it affects a bit of someone else that's always been important to me.
