Christina McLain

Liked it a lot but the body count of pregnant girls seemed a bit much toward the end. It put me off visiting Belfast too even though the Troubles are supposedly over. Very similar to Jane Casey's books. Well done but repetitive. Does any Irish author ever write a hopeful book ? Guess that's why Maeve Binchy was so popular....

Denna Brown You must not be Irish I'm guessing. I love Maeve but the Irish are not a hopeful group generally speaking. Having said that, I love Irish authors and their darker writing.
You really should visit Ireland. North or South, it is a beautiful place!
