Natalia Perez i think this ending was soo realistic but i have to say i like the ending in the movie better, not because he went to see Aimee but because he like learned about how living in the now wasn't always good and how he was vulnerable at the end (like the scene with his mom)
Matthew Scott Williams I just found myself wanting to scream at Sutter to head straight to St. Louis and keep things going with Aimee. He was really starting to turn his life around at the end, it seems. That's just me, though, I like the classic happy ending idea. Still, it was a good ending and I can empathize with Sutter at the same time, oddly enough.

Emma Reyerson Part of me was hoping for a cheesy ending where Aimee and Sutter lived together in St. Louis, but I knew in the back of my mind that it was nearly impossible for that to happen with Sutter's past. The other part of me wanted a realistic ending like the one I got, but it left me feeling like the book didn't have a full impact on me. Sure you have to live in the now, but you also have to live for the future.
Nada Adel The ending was totally realistic and it matched Sutter's character pretty well. He's the kind of guy who wants to live in the 'now' and doesn't want to worry about the future or college or settling down. He wants to enjoy his life the way it is.
Ronald The ending left me wanting more. Although it had some unresolved plot points, like what happened with Aimee, Sutter's Dad, and his direction in the future, I was actually okay with it. I was satisfied, because the themes were all there. I felt like I understood where Sutter came from, and there was just a lot to take in. He had a good heart, but it seems like a rough road ahead for him. It's something we all gotta take

Kate Everett I think he did, he and Aimee's relationship, while sweet and real, was toxic.
