Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
"Crater Trueblood and The Lunar Rescue Company" is the third novel in the Helium-3 trilogy so I always knew I would need to wrap up the story thread in this book. Crater and his friends live on the moon a century from today. In this final novel, I decided to get them off the moon for awhile and head off into space on a rescue mission because I thought it would be fun to write and to read. These are Young Adult novels so I keep them moving along. Although there are many battle scenes, I don't get down into the blood and dirt like I did in the Josh Thurlow series ("The Keeper's Son," The Ambassador's Son," and "The Far Reaches"). Still, there's enough 22nd Century "shot, shell, and gunpowder" to make the story an exciting ride.
