Goodreads asked A.L. Goulden:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

A.L. Goulden Ugh. Sometimes I read and just get away from the story for a couple hours, or I open up a different story I'm writing. There are also times when blogging or doing small writing exercises gets my brain going. I've done a little actor's trick and written letters from my characters POV to another character. These are never to be seen or used in my books, but they help me figure out what the character would do. I also tend to research the places or type of people I'm writing about when I'm clogged and immerse myself in their reality.
