What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Sarah Forgrave As a mom of young kids, I love the flexibility my writing career affords. When my kids were babies, I wrote during their naptime. When they were toddlers, I wrote during preschool. Now that they're in full-time school, my writing hours are a little longer, but I still have flexibility to go to their special events during the day.

I also love hearing from readers. It's mind-boggling to think that the words I type in anonymity have the ability to reach far and wide. Knowing that I've touched someone through my words is such a blessing, and I'm grateful God has allowed me to live out this calling.
