Goodreads asked Daniel Adorno:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Daniel Adorno Sometimes I think writer's block is just a sham--an excuse writer's make to procrastinate or a wall they hit because they didn't plan their story out well enough. With that being said, I've hit the "wall" a few times and I usually need to reevaluate where my story has gone wrong and correct it. Sometimes it's just a matter of tweaking an outline or finding plot holes, but other times it's just taking a break from the writing to let the brain rest and come back to it afterwards.
