Persnickety asked:

I came to the series after Book 3 had been released, so don't know the general timeframes between releases so that I can watch for Book 4. Any hints? Any guesstimates as to how many books there will be in the series?

J.L. Langland Hi

Sorry, just saw this, I log in every day, but didn't see this on my main page.

Book 1 took about 25 years :) Book 2 was about 18 months with writing, beta readers, editor, Book 3 was 15 months with about 3 months of beta readers and editor (e.g. it took about 9 months to get to beta)

Book 4, I am targeting for probably March or April 2018, however, before that will be two other, shorter books that are "side books" that dovetail into the main storyline. Chronicles of Astlan: Into the Wilds that takes place within the Holy Etonian Empire at the same time as DOA, and Oak Orks of the Antilles: Into the Dark Night (or something like that) which is the story of the Shaman Trig Bioblast and his quest for the Doom of the Antilles Cluster.

I hope to have those out a few months apart, around the end of the year.
