Nikki Copleston Write, read, get other people to read your work, people who don't know you but are part of a group - like a writing group - who are prepared to give you honest, constructive criticism. It's very easy to get disheartened - especially when you read books you feel really aren't very good - but just keep plugging away. And read, read, read - the library is FREE and has all the latest books. And if you haven't got time to read, listen to audio books while you're in the car or doing the housework or clearing out the garage.
