Goodreads asked Larry Watts:

How do you get inspired to write?

Larry Watts Every day I hear little stories about people's lives, funny, sad, inspiring, etc. I can envision a novel in most of these stories and often jot notes to remind myself. At times, I hear of an incident, or a series of incidents, as I did prior to writing my novel Cheating Justice, that makes me feel as if I am obligated to write about it. In Cheating Justice, it was several incidents of men in Texas convicted of crimes they didn't commit. I wanted to tell why I think it occurs and did so in a work of fiction.
