Goodreads asked William Blackwell:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

William Blackwell I write through it. When I'm writing a novel, a set a disciplined schedule and stick to it. I used to write in the evenings, but I found I would lose track of time and write until two or three in the morning. Then later in bed, my mind would be racing with ideas and I'd be getting up constantly, jotting down notes for future chapters or further character development. Now, I write in the mornings and try to pen 2,000 words a day.
