How do you get inspired to write?

V. St. Clair Boredom! I'm easily bored, so my mind usually drifts off to making up stories when that happens. I thought up the Age of Empires duo while cleaning the house one night, and the Chronicles of Icthema were conceived while I was stuck in a week-long training session on fluidized-bed reactors for my day job (100x more boring than it even sounds, trust me).
