I voted for Godel Escher Bach (a famous, absolutely fantastic book) but then I noticed that the link to the book in the "June 2012 - Book Club Nominations" is probably not correct, as the author of that version is not Douglas Hofstadter. The correct link to the book by Douglas Hofstadter is:

Drake Wow, this is tough. _Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid_ is 20 years old which makes me pause but....it still sounds interesting. I vote for that one.
