I have not read many coming of age/ ya romances but bully by penelope douglas is young adult cause they’re in high school and it doesn’t take place in summer but it kinda gives summery vibes cause they’re outside a lot, but it’s a bully romance but the bullying isn’t super harsh.
Not Another Love Song by Julie Soto is also a good read , I gave it 5 stars and it has a lot of musical elements to it, and even tho the characters are older they’re still discovering themselves.
Book Lovers by Emily Henry is chefs kiss, takes place in the Summer in a very small town, but the characters are like in their 30’s.

okay i’d recommend “Float”!! I thought i would not really like this book because i’m not the biggest fan of romance but it was so good!! i loved the friend group and the romance was pretty good too🥹 it was super fun and summery☀️ I read it in Hawaii and i did NOT want to put it down! ngl you get a bit of second hand embarrassment from some things that happen to the main character but it’s such a good book overall!!

The summer of broken rules!! Vibes amazing and romance is good, but it is fade to black. Also One Golden Summer by Carley fortune is amazing, they’re a bit older than young adults but it has awesome summer vibes, spice, perfect romance and made me want to just live on a lake and be spontaneous! Hope this helped you lovely!

Any Ann Liang are amazing and although there’s no spice, the romance is on point!!!!
