Poll
Nominate a book for the January 2024 Monthly Group Read! This book could be used to fulfill the 2024 prompt #19 A book set in the future.
Ellis Island opened on New Year’s Day 1892, which was also a leap year! Most all who made it to Ellis Island were simply hoping for a better future. The NEW YEAR is usually focused on the future with setting resolutions, etc. January 1 is also WORLD DAY OF PEACE! More of which this world needs immediately and in the future, IMO!
NOTE: This is the NOMINATION round, which is step one. We will select the top results from this round to create a new poll for a Final Vote to select ONE book for the January 2024 group read.
BEFORE NOMINATING A BOOK, PLEASE CHECK AGAINST THE LISTING OF BOOKS NOT AVAILABLE FOR 2024 MONTHLY GROUP READS HERE!!! Nadine and I will be checking against this list. Please help us avoid any consideration of books that are not eligible! Thank you!!!
Our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who help select these books and especially to those members who participate in and/or facilitate the discussions!
