"Latinx" (or Latino/Latina) means anyone living in, or descended from someone who lived in, Latin America. Latin America includes Mexico, the Caribbean islands, Central America, and South America. Most people do not include the countries that are former English or Dutch colonies, such as Suriname & Jamaica.
NOTE: This is the NOMINATION round, which is step one. We will select the top results from this round to create a new poll for a Final Vote to choose ONE book for the September 2022 group read.
