“My favorite color? So glad you asked. Lavender.”
It’s decided. I’m going to bring some color into Ryan Shay’s life if it’s the last thing I do.
A pop of lavender peeks out from under the pile of pillows. New sheets in my favorite color, and I don’t know how to process how I feel about him remembering that.
Please, Blue. Help me out here.”
“Good. Let him think we’re together. Fuck that guy.”
Emotional girl, my roommate.
“I’m not weird. You’ve just never had someone take care of you before, so you may as well get used to it.”
At some point, I should probably tell her that my love language is whichever one she wants it to be so she can stop guessing. I’ll make sure that girl feels loved however she needs.
“Sometimes the quietest love is the loudest,” she continues.
She deserves the gesture. She deserves to be loved loudly. She deserves to be loved in any way she wants.
I will burn the world down to protect her and I’ll proudly wave the match, so everyone knows I’m the one who did it.”
