But the hours I spent in the company of the ocean and all its moods, the sense of being a part of a limitless world of water and air, sun and stars and wind—that is still vivid in my mind. For those were the times that nurtured my spirit, allowed my inner self to grow and expand in understanding. My belief in a great Power was strengthened—a Power outside, yet including each one of us and all the wonders of the world.
