He grabbed my hand, his strong fingers covering mine in a loose grip as he brought it to his chest. The wild rhythm of his heart pounded against my palm. “You feel that?” Another nod. “That’s all you. Don’t ever tell me you’re not good at this. You got my shit jumping out of my chest from a kiss.”
“America barely fucks with my Black ass. Fuck I wanna go to another country and experience racism in a different language for?”
She complimented his beard next. “Thank you, baby.” He rubbed a hand against his freshly shaped up jawline. “You gon’ ride it later?”
“You so damn fine, Ryann.” I dropped my hands to the arms of the chair she was in and pressed my lips against hers. “Fine and mine.”
