I’m around, you don’t touch your wallet. I don’t care what it is, just know that I got it because I got you. You hear me?”
“I don’t say it when I address other women because those other women aren’t you.”
I just liked sharing space with her. Even if it was one hour a week. Even if it was across the room. And when I walked in her house earlier and saw some of the recommendations I’d given her at the top of her stack, it made a nigga feel good.
“If you don’t like what we’re doing, we can stop. But don’t feed me the same lies that some motherfucker who couldn’t handle you fed you.”
“That’s all you. Don’t ever tell me you’re not good at this. You got my shit jumping out of my chest from a kiss.”
“You’re fucking amazing at this. And I won’t stop telling you that until you know that shit like you know your name.”
I kissed her lips softly, and then the tip of her nose before I whispered, “I’m not letting you go, Ryann. Not after tonight. I need you too much.”
“I know we touched on it before, but I need you to fully understand how serious I am about this. About us. You deserve whatever the fuck you want in this life, and I plan to give it to you. You don’t know how long I’ve wanted this time with you. And now that I know you don’t have a nigga, I’m not letting up because that’s a spot I’m trying to fill.”
