‘Shouting at the mountains will do no good. Landslides are common here and he is used to them by now. There is no need for you to plead for him, Margarita, because his cause has already been pleaded by the man he longs to join.’ Woland turned round to the master and went on: ‘Now is your chance to complete your novel with a single sentence.’
This is a beautiful caption that raptures Margarita's journey to resurrect the love of her life's lost passion, and fulfilling his destiny. It's such a magnitude of belief in seeing someone traverse the shadow worlds of life, death and hell to rescue not just a man she loves, but a piece of literature mastery that she knows has to be released into the world.
It's just a powerful analogy because as writers, there's nothing in the world like a champion who can recognize the power of your work even when you (the writer) can become jaded or just exhausted from fighting so much adversary.
But at this point, even after all she's endured, it still comes to the fact that in the end, he must finish the novel on his own fruition. That's a degree of emotional strength that heroic in every sense.
