As Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

God has prepared a table for us—a table for two—set with an abundance of peace, clarity, and purpose.

You are in a spiritual battle, and the enemy is trying to wedge his seeds of doubt, fear, anger, and distrust into your consciousness.
The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Don’t allow the enemy access to your conversations, thoughts, attitudes, or emotions. Don’t allow the enemy into your story. You will only end up having a conversation with a killer.
“The LORD is my shepherd” (Psalm 23:1). You were created to be led.
If God is not leading you, it means you are being led by someone else. If you think you are leading your life—calling the shots—then congratulations . . . you are your own shepherd!
David didn’t always get what he wanted every day. But he never lacked what he needed any day of his life.
When Jesus makes you do something, it’s for your own good. You—His sheep—need guidance and rest.
You can count on God’s goodness and love to follow you all the days of your life. This is what you get when you trade whatever shepherd that you’ve been following for Jesus leading your life.
God will not extract you from a broken world.

The devil’s goals are always the same. He wants to gain access to your mind so he can destroy you.
He wants to get inside your head so he can plant harmful thoughts within you. He wants to steal everything valuable from you. He wants to kill your relationship with God. He wants to cause division between you and the people who care for you. It is up to you to keep him from sitting at your table. You have the power to exercise faith to defy the devil’s whisper.
God is inviting us to enter into a relationship with Him and dine with Him at His table. But it’s amazing how quickly the enemy will try to take a seat there!
Satan will plant lies to make us believe that we are not experiencing the abundant life that Jesus has to offer—things would be better if we were in a different situation.
second way to know the enemy is at our table is if we find ourselves thinking that we are not going to make it.
A third way to know the enemy is at our table is if we are hearing that we are not good enough.
Jesus says the Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. Our invitation to God’s table cost Jesus everything. We have incredible value in God’s eyes.
A fourth way to know the enemy is at our table is if we are believing that everyone is against us. Satan tells us we must go through life “closed-fist.” But Jesus opened His hands for us on the cross. He gave up His life for our sakes so that we will know He is for us, not against us.
We cannot stop the enemy from prowling around and seeking to destroy us. But we can refuse to allow him a seat at our table. We do this by locking our eyes on our King and locking on to what He says is true about us. We take Him at His word and believe what He says about
us.
When you are up against life and death, you need to know there’s an all-powerful Good Shepherd with a rod in one hand and staff in the other. That’s the Jesus of Psalm 23. That’s why you find comfort in His presence.
God prepares a table for us in the midst of our enemies. Jesus is watching them, guarding us, so we can keep our attention fully fixed on the face of the Good Shepherd.
You were created in the image of God. You were called to greatness. You are God’s child, and He wants
to set you free from anything that’s holding you back. God wants you to live in the fullest potential that He has for your life. It’s time you got serious about victory now that God has given you the opportunity to ask, “How is the opposition coming against me? What is the enemy doing to me? What adjustments can be made?” You can win the battle for your mind.
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish
every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
First, when a thought enters our minds, we have to identify that thought and restrict access if necessary.
Second, when a thought enters our minds, we must speak to that thought in Jesus’ name.
Third, when a thought enters our minds, we must claim the truth. Jesus taught us that we must know the Word of God so that we can combat the enemy’s attempts to twist the truth.
Hearing God’s voice will require you to stop doing and simply be present before God.
Jesus was clear that entertaining a harmful thought was as bad as doing a harmful deed.
Winning the battle for your mind requires you to take every thought captive and make
it
obedient to Christ. When a thought is obedient to Christ, it either aligns with Him or is rejected by Him and by God’s teaching found in Scripture. If a thought is not taken captive by you in Jesus’ name, that thought will take you captive. You will bind the thought, or the thought will, in time, bind...

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Winning the battle of our mind begins with uniting with Jesus. We join with Him in His death in order to then join with Him in His resurrection (see Romans 6:5).
We identify with Him and His suffering—and we identify with Him and His life. We are united with Christ. It’s a story of victory.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
It’s about pulling up and throwing away the thoughts that do not coincide with the heart of God. It’s about changing the way you think.
