Love makes you believe idiotic, moronic things,

It’s been a long time. It still hurts, but the grief comes in waves.

Deep down, I think that’s what has made me afraid of relationships; to know that you could love someone so powerfully, and it wouldn’t be enough. They can—and will—leave you and this world behind at the drop of a hat. Nothing in life is guaranteed, and not even true love can save you.
