A difference between being a loner and being alone. One felt like a choice, and the other—it felt like a sentence. Like some kind of punishment for something I didn’t even do.
I didn’t want to be alone. I wanted someone to choose me.
“Fuck loyalty among bros. Loyalty to my girl rules all.”
Really, this whole thing just reeked of the injustice women lived with daily. Men didn’t get it; they never truly would.
I couldn’t quite understand why females were automatically less, why we had to work harder to get a modicum of respect, and why our word wasn’t as good as a man’s.
“I swear toxic masculinity is going to be the end of this entire world.”
It shouldn’t be like this. Women shouldn’t be forced into silence because they’re afraid of being disbelieved.
“When people won’t believe, when they won’t listen, you make them.”
If Ryan had a superpower, it would be his charm.
