In my teens, I would go to rehearsals with Dad, including for Guys and Dolls. I’d like to say that I absorbed every creative moment that I was exposed to. I did not. I was a kid. This was my dad at work. During the rehearsals of Guys and Dolls, I snuck up to the empty balcony section and ran around. When you’re a kid, your dad’s fame doesn’t mean that much.
