“How do you feel about being hunted?” “Hunted?” I whispered, entranced by him. “Mmhmm,” he hummed. The easiness about him drew me in, luring me a bit closer. “I think you might enjoy what happens if you’re caught.”
The humans that visited typically only came for one reason. To be hunted by their orc. Most of them were mated, some of them soon to be.
“Yes, Daddy,” I corrected him, giving him a firm squeeze.
“Don’t cry,” he said softly. “Don’t cry, love. Your Daddy is here now. I will take care of you.”
“You can let me get close, you know. You don’t have to be the perfect architect when you’re in my arms. You can be the goofy comic artist who likes to drink hot tea and read books.”
“Thank you for loving and protecting me,” I said, sliding my hand up to cup his face. A tear slid down his cheek and I wiped it away, swallowing hard. “Thank you for letting me,” he whispered.
