we’re reading The Catcher in the Rye. I hate it. Holden Caulfield is not a sympathetic character to me, and I’m over the way he calls everyone a phony.
I loved it in HS, but Holden is just so damn annoying, which I figured out when trying to re-read it in my early 20s.
