Someone once said we don’t have a justice system, we have a legal system. I think about that.
Influencers for the most part adore their followers because they are numbers. Those little numerals under a video or at the bottom of a blog saying how many people love you. They’re pain blockers, dopamine hits; they’re a drug for the creator. They are digital endorphins, not human beings with feelings and aspirations and lives of their own. Influencers want money and praise and adoration, or even to be hated. Not true connection. Not firsthand interaction.
