Klara Woods. A beautiful name for a beautiful woman.
He couldn't keep his eyes off of her. Her hazel eyes, her dark, almost-gothic hair. The way she crossed her legs and then uncrossed them. Her chest rising and falling with each breath.
Klara. She was a firecracker. She wasn’t like the rest. Easily meltable. She bites, he thought.
“Hurts? How?” “Because, when you love someone, you want them to be happy. No matter what. No matter what that means for you. Even if it means you aren’t in the picture anymore. That’s how you know it’s love.” They both
“You, Klara.” He pointed toward her. “Me, Chris.” He pointed toward himself. He beat his chest with his fists, swept her off her feet, and carried her to bed.
She had emotions, she had ideas, she had her characters well developed, and she had a muse. He sparked her fire, he sparked her brain, he sparked her body, and he sparked her soul. He was
her spark. She’d never had a spark before. Not like this. Klara checked her
Klara was speechless, too overwhelmed to even laugh at his silliness. She opened the other box. Matching blue suede heels.
“Let’s toast to you, Klara. To being a spectacular woman; to being an amazing caregiver and a kind and loving friend; for being a community-driven individual helping those around you; for being a headstrong boss babe; a go-getter;
getter; a tough-as-nails, don’t fuck with me, or I’ll cut you yet bake you a casserole Southern belle.
