Maybe that’s what made them such a good family. They were fucked up, but they were fucked up together.
Letting out a small sigh, he prepped Thursday’s dish, half wet and half dry food, then set it on the little kitty stool because he refused to eat on the floor, and Taylor was well aware he was no longer the boss in his house. He was lucky Thursday let him get away with his long hours.
Jet breathed out, slow and heavy. “I love this.” “What?” Taylor whispered. “Being close like this. It helps me feel settled and like I know exactly where you are.” He moved one hand to the back of Taylor’s neck, then pushed fingers into his hair and held on with a firm grip. “I love that you let me in.”
“When I’m fully embracing my Sin, I’m powerful. I’m overwhelming. I can give, and I can take. I can build, and I can shatter. I want to give you all of who I am, but not how I give Sloth to my clients.”
He knew his place wasn’t really visually appealing. Flint had tried to convince him to hang up art to entertain his sighted guests, but Jet refused. If they wanted to look at art, they could do it in their own damn homes. Instead, he put up basil and mint in a little windowsill bed because they smelled amazing. He had the softest sofa and three microfiber blankets laying over the cushions. He had tile floors he could heat with the touch of a button and a surround sound stereo for days when he just needed to drown out the thoughts in his head.
Jet’s breath left him in a rush, and he quickly turned to kiss Taylor hard and furious. “You know it won’t be just him, right? With you, there’s no way I could be just the Sin.” He braced himself for the next words he knew he had to say. “I’m in love with you, Taylor.”
Sloth wanted to make Taylor serve, and Jet wanted to hold him close while it was happening.
“Come on, my precious little sinner. You’ve already fallen so far. It’s time to finally land.”
“Yes,” Jet said because he did. He knew exactly what his lover was saying. This wasn’t just for a moment or for a little while. It wasn’t just for a long time or for as long as they both lived. This love between them transcended heaven and hell. It was forever. And he would see the end of time before what they had faded into dust. The End.
