Sometimes they were polyamorous, generally a group of females with one male, though there could be solo gender herds or even mixed groups so long as there was an acceptance of the dominant bull. Sometimes they weren’t sexual in nature at all, or they could be formed from a monogamous couple and their subsequent children.
