“It’s not quite what I’d pictured for myself,” I admit. I don’t think many people plan to end up in a poly relationship. Certainly, any pre-Hadley fantasies I would have had about the idea included more women than men in the relationship, but Hadley is more than enough woman for all of us. “But she deserves to be happy. If you guys make her happy, then I’m not about to stand in the way of that.” I hesitate before continuing, “I’ve spent most of my teen and adult life feeling like I don’t fit in anywhere, yet with Hadley, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”
