A Walk in the Physical: Understanding the Human Experience Within the Larger Spiritual Context

Every person is beautifully unique, and thus every individual’s spiritual walk will also be beautifully unique! No one can hand “Truth” to you, not me or anyone else.

“The Dao that can be spoken of is not the true Dao. The name that can be named is not the true name.”

The thinking human intellect deals with forms, so the thinking human intellect cannot reach the full truth.

No one can “hand” truth to you – it must be your own experience.

When we love the person next to us, we are impacting what is real.

Physical reality is not an objective material place, but is instead a real experience of a virtual environment taking place within the pre-existing consciousness of every participant.

Physical results naturally happen subsequent to a change in intent.

We come to Earth to execute and embody a quality of being. (078) We come to be love!

The doing comes after the being; intention precedes action.

While we behold the shiny sense data of the physical universe, we forget to look deeply enough into the truer “substance” that is right beneath our noses: our own awareness.

the success of our physical lives is not determined by our physical accomplishments or possessions, but rather by how much we were able to love others.

You do not need to move a mountain; you only need to genuinely work towards engaging your life with an intent that is more loving, open, and sincere! If you do that, you are changing the world.

Loving brother or sister, please be gently reminded: It is certainly OK to embrace your own worthiness.

The spirit will always work with each individual as they are ready, and the individual will always eventually utilize their actual experience to grow in their own way.

The words Love and God attempt to encompass many aspects of truth that vastly transcend all human language;

Faith is allowing the greater truth and mighty river of Source’s ever-present love to flow through you in whatever your circumstances, regardless of the forms involved!

While forms themselves are not innately “good” or “bad,” since a consciousness must always assign meaning to them in order for them to have meaning, the movement of consciousness through intent does either align more closely or less closely to Truth or Divine Love. This is why it is so very important to deeply explore the nature of our own motivations and to act from loving intent (which aligns with Truth) rather than fearful intent (which temporarily does not).

We try to make sure our way of seeing the world is furthered. We worry about it, we fret and fight to make the rest of the world adapt to the correctness of what we believe to be right. But the correctness of belief is not what this universe is about. We are here to develop the quality of our intent, the quality of ourselves as truly loving and authentic beings. We are here to face our fears and to accept personal responsibility. We are here to actually accept and support one another!

Thought is not the same as intent. Thought is a form beheld within the mind; intent is the fundamental movement of consciousness.

A form, by definition, is not everything. And because it is not everything, no form (or forms) can contain all the answers and explain all phenomena.

And if for today we might attempt to pick one word (one form) to identify what Source is, we might use the word consciousness.

How much greater a gift could be given by the Creator to spirits who are already absolutely free than the ability to fully experience contrast, that they may in fact exercise their freedom even more, actually be more than they once were, and learn to express the love that they really are in new and very real ways?

This is a common practice of the ego: We draw conclusions about that which we actually do not understand and proclaim our conclusions as truth.

Spirituality is about your relationship to the present moment. It is about your actual experience and what you do with it.

Once we have defined reality a certain way, the other ways become seemingly nonexistent to us.

encouraging someone to hope does not so much need to be an exercise in convincing them there is reason to hope, but rather it is reminding them of their true nature.

One can seek truth beyond knowledge by consistently and genuinely moving one’s focus towards that which does transcend the boundaries of realities: awareness itself!

Being does not require effort. Only striving to be what you are not requires effort.

Love is the body of the One Being working in concert. Treat the other as yourself, for the other is yourself!

Your only job is to exist in the radiant joy of what you are, and to share that joy richly with all other parts of the One!

You do not need to turn to the things of the world to find your richness. You do not need to turn to objects, ideas, beliefs, actions, substances, sensations, or relationships to find your worth. Worth already belongs to you, because you Are.

While uncertainty may evoke the fear of lack of control (the perception of powerlessness), that perceived lack of control is actually an opportunity. Power lies in accepting powerlessness.

Be willing to feel, be willing to take ownership for yourself and for your world, be willing to be vulnerable, and be willing to completely surrender your need for control.
