It was an all right size house when I was growing up and it was just me, Mom and Dad, but when you’re a kid, everything and everyone feels huge. Now as an adult, the corners of this place grew tighter every day,

“I just said it because you looked happy, Daddy.”
“You don’t have to define love to experience it,” she pushed back. “Love isn’t a definition. It’s a feeling.
“You deserve some good in your life, babe. You actually deserve a lot of good in it. Don’t run from it when it’s right in front of you.”
