“I tried to do better,” he said. “Donating to the museum where you work. Including Griffin in family dinners. But the harder I try to reach out to you, the harder you push me away.” To my horror tears formed in his eyes. “I know it’s too little, too late. But, Percival…you’re my son. I love you.”
