You related eds to trans? Both have treatments, ed being ed treatment and if it's dysphoria it is to transition, usually socally to see if it brings down the internal distress the person dealing with gd. If you actually go through the stages of transition it takes time to 1) come to terms with being trans yourself 2) get courage to display that transition because many people are uncomfortable or feel they have the right to make the trans person uncomfortable.
