Every good relationship makes you feel secure, happy, and loved. So, it is perfectly normal to feel every now and then the fear of losing what you have at the moment.
When you are in a stressful relationship, you feel stressed all the time. Eventually, this converts into anxiety and makes the situation worse.
Helpless, you may tend to seek reassurance from other people yet, the worry keeps on returning.
Obsessively thinking over issues related to your relationship can also take a toll on your physical and mental health.
A true relationship means letting someone in your life and granting them access to the parts of you that you hide from the world. When you worry too much about the future, you may feel like doing this is exposing the messier side of yourself.
Remember, just because you worry about your relationship’s future, you cannot snatch away your partner’s individuality.
Ask yourself if you would like to get into a relationship with yourself? Would you be able to tolerate a person who is exactly like you, with the same thinking and actions? Would you ever be able to love yourself if you were another person? If the answer is no, evaluate yourself. Find out the characteristics that make you unwanted in your own eyes and fix them.
