I always thought killing people was the closest I could come to feeling alive, but I was wrong. It’s this. It’s Annie beneath me and the echo of her heart in my chest. I close my eyes. I don’t want to move.
That's the thing about her love. It snuck up on me and held me close. It brought me back to life.
