With a deep breath, I lied to myself one more time—Sean’s death wasn’t my fault. There was nothing else I could have done.
Never ignore anonymous threats from emails, letters, or phone calls. They're the first signs of a Haunting.
“I’ve never been in love, but Sean was my best friend, and we shared mutual trust and appreciation. That was all I wanted in marriage.”
As Jake and I approached, the dog suddenly growled.
"What is that black blur beside her?" he asked. "Is your camera lens dirty?"

"If you want a happy ending, it all depends on where you end it."
And I needed their friendship.
"That's not natural," Mr. E said.

You cannot save me with your sacrifice because it would kill me to lose you."
“I'm your guardian angel, of course. I go wherever you go."
“I’m with you more than ever now that my mind’s finally at peace.”
