“Now take a moment to honor yourselves and this step forward in your practice. Let go of what didn’t work, where you struggled, where you weren’t perfect. Honor yourself, thank yourself, accept yourself where you are right now.” That last line struck a chord deep inside, and Savvy’s eyes welled with tears. “You could have stayed home today, but instead, you came to yoga this morning, you put in the work, and you worked hard. Forgive yourself for whatever you believe went wrong. Accept yourself in this moment. Be generous to yourself today.”
Accept yourself in this moment.
Karma also came back around to reward the good.
“I signed up for you, Savvy. Just as you are. You’re beautiful.” She smiled slightly. “I should tell you, I don’t do well with compliments.” “Why is that?” “Most of the time I feel like they’re undeserved.” “Then I’ll compliment you until you believe that I mean it, because I do.”
Men are not mind readers.
I will not allow myself to feel guilty for self-indulgence or self-care. I will live in the moment and spoil myself if I so choose. I will not be concerned with anyone’s timeline or expectations but my own. Before Savvy takes care of everyone else, Savvy takes care of Savvy.
“Think of me as an interactive experience.”
unbuckled his belt, staring into his eyes. “Spoiling should be mutual.”
There are no limitations here, Savvy. Only the ones you put on yourself.”
I’m exactly where I want to be.
