Look if he respected her, he would have waited for her to show the same feelings toward him that he has for her. Wouldn’t it be better if she reciprocated them as your wife I mean, you forced her into a marriage she didn’t want and you are just trying to wear her down because she has no other options and you are exploiting her when she is in a vulnerable state. I believe the gestures would have been more genuine and wonderful if he didn’t marry her while she was almost unconscious and barely able to understand what was happening (consent cannot be given if she is not in her most sober, consciously aware state) like couldn’t you just be a good person, a good Christian even, and help this woman by just giving her the food, shelter, and time to heal and then let her decide what she wants without having to deal with being tied to a man she is obviously uncomfortable with 🙄🙄
