After Gracie started taking me with her when she would go to work, I think Marcel thought I told her what he was doing to me. I think he was scared, ‘cause he stopped for the rest of the summer. At night, I would wait for him to come into the living room, and he would never come. He didn’t buy me toys or candy anymore, but at least he stopped touching me. For me, that was a good trade.
